Corrida Red Touch Up

Featured Replies

Hi,

Been lurking for quite some time and finally decided to post.........:)

My wife has a Corrida Red VRs and it's collected a couple of stone chips. I usually use the Halfords touch up kits as they have a very fine nib for applying the paint.

Paid my local store a visit today to find that they don't do Skoda Corrida Red :(

Does anyone know if any other paint from the VAG range is a match for Skoda Corrida Red?

Cheers

I don't know, but Paints4U will mix any colour for you. Aerosol or brush. It was the only place I could get paint for my A3 (Kingfisher/Pelican Blue).

Thanks for the reply - I can get the paint from Skoda but I really like the fine nib that comes with the Halfords kits.

When it comes to touch up paint or spray cans, I have always ended up ordering them from a skoda dealer..... about

I bought some Corrida red touch-up from a local dealer several weeks ago.

A tip they provided - for small stone chips, they said use a cocktail stick. With it having a small pointed wooden tip, it would not hold much paint and you can just dib it over the chip.

Skoda part number HFA-380074 for corrida touch up kit

Dealer kit and a set of cocktail sticks :)

I've given up trying to touch-up stone chips as it often ends up looking worse! I now use something like ScratchX to effectively fill the chip and finish off with a hard polish for protection.
