Just called Virgin Insurance regarding fitting a Green Panel filter and a remap. They appear to judge the increase in premium based upon the percentage of extra BHP that the mods will provide.

Am i right in thinking that a new filter will not add any extra BHP?

Not entirely. It will add about 2 to 3 BHP on average

On it's own I doubt it. It will allow a bit more power to be squeezed out come the remap time though.

Think i'll just quote 170BHP then and ensure that the map isn't too vicious and comes just under it.
