I would like to buy an O2 vRS hatch but I really hate the spoiler on the back. It's so 70-ties in my opinion. This keeps me from buying it so far.

Does anyone know if the spoiler can be removed without leaving holes or other traces of it. I don't want a Combi so that's no option.

I don't see how you can remove it without leaving traces of the holes but you may find a dealer who is prepared to swap the whole boot lid with another octavia of the same colour.

Personally I like it. I also like the small spoilers fitted on the sport models too...

You could try swapping it for the smaller lip spoiler from the 'sport' spec. Discreet without seeing holes in the bootlid.

but IMHO the vRS spoiler is just right.

agreed - the only proper way of doing it would be to get another bootlid...... failing that a body shop to fill the holes and respray the whole thing.

I don't think it would be a big issue to remove it and fill the holes but obviously it'd be an added cost on purchase.

It will leave holes - but you can use them to put a BIGGER spoiler on
