What is it

Featured Replies

I need help with a possible oil leak from a pipe on my Fabia vrs.

The pipe in question can just be seen if you look at the drivers side of the plastic cover that protects the underside of the engine .The drivers side has a notch cut out of it and you can just see a cream or grey pipe and i have seen a black oil type liquid on it but its not dripping off its just hanging off it.Can anyone tell me what the pipe is for and if anyone has any idea of a cause b4 i ring the dealer up.

Thanks in advance

intercooler?

this small amount of oil is normal , or put another way , they all do it

it is an intercooler pipe , when there is no boost pressure the pipe joint relaxes and a small amount of oil will pass the o-ring seal in the joint

just wipe it off
