hi i have a problem on my wifes skoda fabia 1.4 mpi 8v 2001year it has a lumpy idle speed we have only just bought car it has full service history and has just been fully serviced is there a fix kit for this fault or do we just put up with it ?????????:mad:

Not sure about how to fix that one, but have a try posting in the Fabia section of the site, and Im sure you will get a reply quicker than I can factorise a polynomial :rofl:

Hiya. That makes the second thread on this group today that makes me think "idle speed controller"!

Might be as simple as a throttle body alignment. Couple of minutes with VAG-COM.

vrstu has recently reset the throttle body on mine:D and it has cured the lumpy idling, and the car does feel more responsive now... well worth getting it sorted
