ive got an 04 plate fabia comfort. really really want leather seats but is it really worth it? they look lush but will i get any money back for them when i come to sell? i was reading whatcar? and they said that people wont want to pay more for leather seats on anything thats less than a prestige or executive car.

btw, is the quality of the seats the same in redditch and surrey as they are in york?

Almost certainly no, but that's not why you mod your car - it's for you, not the next guy!

When you do this does it change the shape of the seat? I think that the Octavia 2seats could be more genourous in the length under you legs and around the bum, I know I have an ample *** but it would be nice to have a bit more support. I dont have sport seats just normal ones.

no its a complete re-trim

If I ever decide to do this, there's the option of swapping the interior with another member if you come to sell it. This has been done before. The doorcards may be a bit fiddly, but the seats themselves should be fairly straightforward.

I know I'd be interested if anyone with a re-trim was selling and wanted a std interior.

If you keep your original coveres you can just swap them back over, they just clip on. I had to take the bottom off my drivers seat recently to replace the foam.

The shape of the seat is not changed when retrimmed, unfortionatly - I would like to modify them slightly too!

Is it as straightforward to remove after the retrim though? I would have thought they might be fixed on...
