As a big fan of the green calipers on VRs models,

I was one of the disappointed ones when it changed to red.

As discussed on this forum it was thought that it was VAG wanted to standardise.

But yesterday I saw a brand new Golf R32 with blue ones and wow it looked good

What colour next ?

R32's have always had blue calipers.

VW Racing colours, along with the Bilstein springs.

Why did they have to drop green "Skoda Motorsport colour for brakes"

Have to settle for same as Seat and VW now

Hey guys, I need to keep a 2kg fire extinguisher in my car due to legal requirements in Greece and I’m trying to figure out the best mounting spot. My main concern is securing it properly so it doesn’t rattle or move around while driving. I’d love to hear from anyone who’s dealt with this — where did you mount yours, and did you use a dedicated bracket or holder? Any tips on keeping it secure without damaging the interior would be great. Thanks in advance!

Bonjour à tous! I'm Xavier from Switzerland and a brand-new member of the Skoda world. A few days ago, I bought a beautiful 2012 Skoda Superb Mk2 Laurin & Klement 2.0 TDI 170 PS. The car is in remarkably good condition, both inside and out, and the engine runs great. Hello, Can anyone inform me what should be the correct Front Shock Absorbers to Maintain the spec of Rough road (2UB) on a Skoda Octavia Combi II (1Z5) ? Original Shocks Code: 1K0 412 021 KP I Believe current codes should be : 1K0 413 031 EJ or 1K0 413 031 BL (can anyone confirm ?) Im considering Bilstein but it's hard to find the correct part number for Rough Road. If anyone knows the part numbers of SACHS or KYB also please inform. Diameter of shocks housing = 50 mm Best Regards.

Hi! I'm in need of some help please. My Octavia estate sat for 8 months unused. The battery went flat (AGM Varta) and doesn't charge. I got the car started with a different battery and then swapped in the dead battery to see if it would start charging. BUT, now the engine was running I needed to move the car a bit and found that the gear stick won't go into reverse gear. It can select 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th but not reverse. I've ordered up a new AGM battery (due in a couple of days) but this reverse

Being a big Skoda fan, I joined Briskoda in 2008, I have always promoted Skodas as my companies first choice engineers car primarily the Superb Estate. And they have always been reliable and capable. We therefore had no worries when one of our employees opted to go fully electric with an Enyaq 85X Sportline contracted via VWFS. Upon delivery it was soon apparent the heater did not work.
