Featured Replies

I couldn't sleep tonight, so come on ere to find answers to all the questions

running through my head...just put deposit down on an Octy vRS today ya see. Now I need to find out about selling the furby, want to know peoples expriences of selling private, better to advertise mods or not, where to advertise, how to safely receive the money and not get done, then a need to see about the MFD fitting for the Octy, how much, where and how, part numbers for the trim, does it play MP3s, whats the guidelines for running in the Octy...etc..etc.... I know all the answers are here somewhere...and if they aren't some kind soul would answer the question for me

P.S. - I ordered heated seats - the dealer didn't know they were an option. Neither did I. Now we both know that 'PWO' will get you heated seats on an Octavia

THE BRISKODA COMMUNITY WORKS - TRIED AND TESTED SUCCESS!!!

If a dealer didnt know that heated seats were an option id have seriously considered going to another dealer!

Surely the dealer should know all options avalible?

Heated seats option on a vRS is a very new thing that Skoda added following some excellent work by a couple of members from here.

not really as things like this can change at any time and if i remember rightly the english spec cars couldn't have heated seats but the irish ones could.

if it were me i'd be honest about all the mods on the car that would need to be mentioned to the insurance company and keep quiet about the rest as you don't want to put off some people with a massive list of modifications. did the dealer not offer a very good trade in or did you not ask?

Im guessing that they are going to fit an MFD themselves as it's cheaper??

MFD2 install instructions are on my octavia website.
