Swapping radio for part ex-ing

Featured Replies

Hiya just wondering,

The car is going in tomorrow to get part ex`ed for a fabia am i ok to remove my radio and replace it with some

Yes, the chances are they wont notice what type of stereo is fitted. They will however notice a hole in the dash if you leave nothing in there at all.

I'd also whip the tax disc out and get any refund from the post office. They gave you a value for the car, the road fund licence is a tax. If you dont take the tax disc and cash it in, you can be sure that they will. Think about it, have you ever bought a car from a dealer and not had to pay for 6 or 12 months???
