This is a bit of a random question, but here goes . . .

I am looking at getting a Fabia estate (second hand), and one of my main priorities is having roof rails. Since the bohemia version is out of my price range, I was thinking about getting roof rails installed on a normal version. Is this possible? Roughly how much would it cost?

Hmmm not sure it's a viable option as I think they are fitted only to Elegance and Bohemia estates or others as a factory fit option. Might want to look at aftermarket options instead.

Check out Butts of Bawtry for parts. Fitting is apparently easy... you remove the black drain channels on the roof to reveal mounting points, screw the rails on and then re-fit another set of replacement black channels.
