I've just gone to buy some G12 coolant to topup my VRs. Only needs the smallest amount, but would prefer to use coolant rather than distilled water..

Anyway.....

Seems that Skoda, VW and Audi changed to G12 plus in 2002. G12 plus is Purple, not the pink G12 I have in my VRs.

My car is a 2007 model, yet for some reason has G12 and not G12 Plus

What color is the coolant in your Octy II?

Pink or Purple...... Interested to see whether there was a change mid year or something.

doesn't it change colour depending on how concentrated it is??
