My cars light came on vrs octy 02 the code 17704 p1296 came up and then showed temp on diag was 63deg on dash 90deg,

temp was taken after 15 min of driving in evening.

does this mean the coolant temp snsor needs replaced as nothing else has been effected, car runs normal and starts normal and heats up normal
