They have the S3 intercooler listed too.

I've been keeping an eye on the VF Engineering GT28RS kit aswell, but this is looking like the cheaper alternative

does the enw S3 use a KKK K04 then?

and does the vRS still use a KKK K03 of some sort?

I think a slight issue with a kit from the US Harry is the mapping. You would have to go custom unless you could make an arrangement with them to email the file and have it uploaded by someone else.

I'm aware about the mapping and would intend on going for a custom map if I did go down this route, unless Revo produce a stage 3 kit themselves.

Bengie you're correct about the turbos. The S3 uses a K04, the vRS and Golf's use the K03.

seems a bit random to me that they still use the same turbo's rather than a new improved item.

although that does explain why a remapped vRS makes lots of mid range torque and it drops off lots at the top end, same as the 1.8T :)

What else would you need besides the manifold-turbo and the ECU tuning so as the car to be functional?

seems a bit random to me that they still use the same turbo's rather than a new improved item.

I wouldnt say the k04 is new and improved! Its more like the Fabia vs Octavia, different purposes and sizes.

thats what i said Dan, i am surprised they have used the same turbo's as the 1.8T rather than improving them :)
