Servicing Costs

Featured Replies

Hi

My cars got to go in for its MOT and service soon so I'm wondering what are people paying for a service at 'non special' intervals (i.e. not at 10k,20k,40k - somewhere in between) and what do they get done?

Cheers

It depend on why you are having it serviced.

Most people( well, me ) just change the oil at 5k intervals. If your car has missed a service i.e. not had one at 20k, and it is approaching 30k then a service will be the 20k one.

As for pricing, well, that depends on where you take it.

There's a 2 yearly one or something too isn't there? Something like coolant and brake fluid? Not sure if you get a warning when that one pops up....

On oil changes - spotted a notice in ATS little while ago - they're doing oil changes (or advertising them ) at reasonable price - and they mention 505.01 in their price list .
