Lower strut brace.

Featured Replies

Having 'won' a lower strut brace for my Fabia, and searched for info. on it, can anyone tell me if they actually fit?

Or do they sit too low to be impractical.

Several people seem to have got one, but there isn't any feedback.

TIA.

balls typed out a long reply only to accidentally hit back page..

Easy to fit, just need to cut a small slice out of the undertray for lowest part of the bar to poke through...the bar sits about 5-10mm lower than the undertray.

I've only scraped it twice slightly, I now have to go one wheel up one down over square speed bumps rather than a wheel either side.

It tightens things up nicely, before the bar was fitted nailing the pedal at low speeds resulted in the front wheels juddering and deflecting but the lower brace bar has stopped this completely.

Thanks for that.

If the wife hadn't taken my car to work, it would have gone on today.

I found that, but it didn't really give me much info.

Oh, well, I'll give it a go anyway.

I thought the vRS already had one as std..? Was wondering where could you get one from? :D

Nope definitely not got one as standard.

I got mine from AW Car-Design on the bay.de

Thanks for the hint above, :D will go onto my shopping list.... (tempted by the lower front and upper rear.. ohh dear.. )
