yeah I tried them in for my last renewal in 2006 and they were a good deal more expensive than my renewal quote was, and that was with 14 years NCB :eek:

when I got a quote 2 years ago when I was buying my octi they quoted me

They phoned me and tried to quote me when I bought my car. After going through the process of telling them all my details, it turns out they wouldn't insure me anyways... Haven't even thought of trying them since.

Always have been very expensive. I would go so far to say they are a rip off.

Hi everyone, I have a 2016 Skoda Octavia 1.2 TSI with Climatronic, and I'm encountering a frustrating A/C issue. Problem: After driving at highway speeds (90 km/h or higher) for a prolonged time, the A/C stops cooling. The air coming from the vents is the same flow volume but no longer cold, although the system appears to still be "on." However, when I drive in city traffic or idle in a traffic jam, the A/C works perfectly and cools the cabin as expected. What I’ve Checked: No fault codes in the

Hi Folks, Both the front and rear window washers on my MK3 Fabia not working but window wipers do operate. Google it and go through the last posts but no clue. 1) No pump sound 2) My friend help to test the fuses no. 22, 27, 31 and 46, are all fine 3) At pump, the voltage around 11.x V but it will dropped to around 0.5v when turn on the wipers 4) The washer reservoir is full 5) The car battery replaced last summer with normal 12.6V Any idea please, Many thanks in advance

Apologies of this is the wrong place to ask... please feel free to send me in the direction of anywhere more appropriate.. My '72 plate Mk IV is just coming up to 80k miles. So, Today we started installing and wiring the radar sensors. Since it's the facelift rear end, we installed the OEM bracket for the 2Q0 radar sensors. At the same time, we installed the tow hitch. The mechanical part is mostly finished; the cables are in the trunk and all that's left is to route and connect everything inside the car. Coding is also required, of course. A few photos.
