Fab's in for repair

Featured Replies

Hi all. My dad dropped a pair of ladders on the Fabia last week :( so it's now in for repair. My courtesy car is a brand new Vauxhall Corsa 1.2. First impressions are not good. Electric mirror has stopped functioning. The fan whistles on the 1st speed. The ride is actually very good but the handling and steering are not as impressive as I would have thought. But the worse bug bear are the seats. Jesus these are rock hard and this is supposed to be a comfort model!. Oh and the compulsary Vauxhall engine management light keeps coming on. God I miss my car.

Not moaning Knobw? just giving my knowledge on a car somebody maybe interested in buying or changing to! OK.

I wouldn't buy the new Corsa purely on aesthetics. Not keen at all. The VXR looks ok, but I keep thinking Nissan Micra every time I see an ordinary one. Ugh.

I had a 1.2 Fabia as a courtesy car and that was horrid. Made me realise if i didn't have a vRS I wouldn't own a Fabia at all. The only thing I did like about it was the engine noise when thrashed.....reminded me slightly of my BMW 320i 6 pot. :D

And boy did it get thrashed.......you had to just to avoid being crushed on the A64.....
