Goodwood Festival Of Speed - 22-24 June

Featured Replies

This year me and my brother are going down to the Goodwood festival Of Speed, and I was wondering if anyone else was planning to pay it a visit. I've being wanting to go for a few years now but various things kept coming up. So nothing gonna stop me this year. Tickets bought and campsite booked, and thankfully my octy has enough boot space for one or two cans of alcoholic beverages.:) Lets hope the sun is shining.

Its one venue that I have still to cross off my list of things to do, will get round to it when time off coincides etc etc, hope you enjoy yourself

How bizarre.

Just booked tickets for a myself and a mate on thursday, then convinced a bloke at work that he should go as well.

We will be there on friday only and have booked the Pheasantry Grandstand as well. Should be good.

Did you say Thursday, or Friday?

We're going to make a full weekend of and have bought the weekend pass, without a grandstand. Glad to see others are going, wondering if might bump into each other.

Did you say Thursday, or Friday?

What I said was I bought tickets on thursday for the friday event. It only runs from friday to sunday. :P

As for Brooklands I spent a very enjoyable afternoon at Mercedes Benz World. Worth a visit.

Is there anyone out there going to be travelling further than me? Are you going for the whole weekend gmaster. Can't wait for it myself either, and it's going to come round fast as work so hectic at the minute. But means more spending money.

I'll probably put in an appearance on the Friday too, afterall it's only 30 minutes away so it would be rude not to ;)

Going to move this to the South East Meets Section.

Friday & Saturday for me

Saturday for me.

It was excellent last year. Seems Sunday is the day to go this year as thats when the F1 cars are out.

Saying that - it was the same situation last year, but they still came out for a play mid-afternoon on saturday last year.

A great day out

i think im gonna try and make it for the friday, i went last year a good day out
