Hi,

I have noticed that on some Fabia's the dash has a cover which opens up under the stereo rather than just a hole like I have.

Is it possible to change from my hole to the door? if so anyone know what I need,part numbers and what to do?

Simply pull out the radio, tug out the old cubby and slide in the new drawer - 10 mins work tops.

10 mins tops if the radio isn't jammed , the newer cars seem to be a lot more difficult to get the radio released , even with the correct removal tools

I've had a few radio's that were tight to get out but it's easily overcome by remove one of the blanks above or beside and gently levering the radio. The OEM tools are pants for pulling the radio - no grip, but ideal for releasing the latches.

crackin idea, could be a bidding war on ebay now :P I have to say the open space is a waste of time in mine, soon as i put my foot down anything that is in there is propelled at me.

Are there any other nice little touches like this that could be added to the vrs while keeping the OEM look.

It has a metal tubular frame which bolts to the seat frame and lifts up if you want to. Attached to it is a storage box
