Hi,

When I open the boot with the remote key, the boot doesn't open unless you are right there to pull the boot up before the catch re-engages. Other wise the boot unlocks but you have to open it with the handle thingy. Is this the same with everyone's or just mine?

On our A3, you open the boot with the remote on the key (with the rest of the doors locked) and the boot opens so that you just have to pull up on the handle to open it.

On my new Octy Elegance it works like it does on your A3 - press remote button and the boot clicks open, lid stays in 'down' position so that you just have to raise it. Very useful feature IMHO.

On mine I have to hold the boot release button for a few seconds

and it pops up

Probably posted this on the other thread but this failure to open without pressing the button on the boot is a "feature" apparently
