Hi all I've searched and cant find anything so maybe you could help on this -

The centre heater vent in the dashboard.

One of the flappy things is broken and doesnt move. Any idea where I can get a replacement part for this?

If you look at the picture you can see the centre vent (on the right hand side) seems to be missing a "flap" at the top. For some reason it doesnt move with the rest.

It's worth faffing around trying to remove it/repair it.

1) It's got to be removed if you buy a replacement.

2) Even if you break it, you'll gain an insight into how it all fits together so are unlikely to do the same to any replacement.

3) If you get it out intact, you can dismantle it and have a go at repairing it.

Main concern is to use tools that won't damage the dash. I tend to use spatulas intended for P38/P40 filler and old credit cards.

Once it's out, it's fairly easy to see how it all fits together, so you shouldn't have too much trouble dismantling it if you want to try and fix it! It may just be that something's come loose...
