Cable connector thing for handsfree kit?

Featured Replies

I know this has been discussed before and i have searched for the answer as i am sure i have seen it somewhere before and I know vrsstu has talked about it before and there are some part numbers on his website but cant work out what i need, or if i actually definatly need it?

I pick my car up on wednesday and have a nokia CK-1W kit to install. Can the tel mute and speaker cables be connected dirrectly to the back of the head unit via spade connectors or do i need this cable connector thing that i have seen mentioned. If so does anybody know the part number so i can order it.

Sorry to ask if the answer is already out there in briskoda land, i just cant find it!

You need a wire with two connectors (One each end) for the speakers another for the radio mute and if it's a stream MP3 a slightly different one for the radio mute.

You'll also need the plug.

Or a VW dealer.

That's where I got my connector and 2x 000979010 (as stream mp3 - so all connections the same).

Was actually cheaper than the skoda dealer!

1 cable (cut in half) did the + and - speaker connection. The 2nd was cut in half for the tel mute. ;)
