I recently bought an ex-demo vrs octavia. I've had the car a couple of weeks and have just noticed that the back section of the parcel shelf (the bit that doesnt lift when you open the boot) has some scratch marks on it. Possibly from over enthusiastic cleaning (the valet job on the car was pretty naff, found a lighter and a packet of gum in the car. And had to go round the car removing excess wax). Do you think I have a case to make to get it replaced or because its a used car and its been a few weeks it's too late?

Only one way to find out, go and see the dealer and ask nicely, they'll either do something about it or tell you to jog on.
