This is my first thread.

I have a 2006 1.9TDI Octavia Lauren and Klement Estate and am taking it away next week to france.

Now I spoke to the dealer about converting the headlights and he quoted

Sorry to say that I can't remember in detail, but I do know that this has been answered on here before and it is just a small lever you move.

The search function should hopefully allow you to find it, but if not I am sure somebody who knows will be along soon enough.

Hi, this is slightly off subject but..... How do you know if you have this type of lighting? I got my elagance a few weeks ago its an 06 55 plate car 1.9TDI. I want to get a bulb kit for the boot but get a bit lost while looking at the instruction book.

Dont forget to carry spare bulbs too. That's a legal requirement in Europe. Even if they dont fit a Xenon equipped car. They never thought of that did they!!! Its still illegal not to carry them !!Hilarious

IIRC you have to carry the correct bulbs for your car as if one is failed they can insist you replace it at the roadside before you continue your journey.

Failure to do so would be at minimum a fine.

TBH the number of cars with lights out these days it would be kind of nice if it was a requirement here too.

ER...... I thought it was a legal requirment to carry spares in the uk!:confused:
