Noisy change up into 3rd gear cured...

...on my 06 vRS by replacing the clutch, dual mass flywheel and release bearing. Had to pay for the clutch part but the rest (inc labour) under warranty. Now quiet as a mouse

It used to randomily screech like a strangled seagull when engaging 3rd gear from 2nd as you let the clutch back.

Not been a good year for the Fabia (~25k miles), but with two new front wheel bearings (1st dealer replaced the wrong one doh), window regulator 'fiddled' with to shut up driver's door rattle and the above hopefully should have some more happy motoring over the summer I hope.
