Looking through the brochure, I couldn't find reference to the white roof option. Did I miss it and how much would it be?

I'm presuming it *is* an option for UK spec Fabias - as it features heavily in the brochure, the postcards and even the cakey car has a white roof!

None of the ones we looked at had a white roof and the dealer said it's an option at the moment (he would have to get it done ....but a vinyl roof may be along soon)

when i saw the picture of the white roof i thought it was a printing error.

you can have anything on the roof!!!! (white, union jack ect) you can even give them a digital picture, and they'll put that on the roof for you

Wonder where they go that idea from If only they'd pinched the handling rather than the styling!

No doubt it is an extra and more time consuming process, and they want to build stock up to meet initial demand of the new model?

Well, the Willis demonstrator has a chequered black and white roof and it looks rather good so don't see why you'd have to wait till Spetember/08.

Still prefer the Roomster over the Fabia though.

Dealer I spoke to says they'll have a white roofed one soon - but that's because they'll get the bodyshop to respray just the roof.

I thought thats what the factory did anyway? Can anyone confirm if the white roof is going to be paint , or a giant vinyl sticker? I don't think I'd fancy it if it was the latter.

that's probably what the factory will do - but the point the dealer was making was that this isn't availabel yet, so he'll have to order a normal "all over" black one from the factory, and they'll do the roof themselves when it arrives

I see 'Sunset Glass' isn't listed in the options for the new car either , even though you could get it on the old one!
