Anybody elses Vrs crackle when you turn the ignition?. Going in for a service tomorrow so I thought I would ask so I can get them to sort it out. Sounds like it's coming from the front speakers.

I presume you're not refering to the fuel pump? Just before you start the car the fuel system is primed and you will often hear a whoosh noise!

I used to hear a 'squidgy' noise on mine - perfectly normal.

No it's defintely something to do with the radio. If I turn of the radio off on an evening and start the car in the morning it does'nt sound as much. Weird!. I know the sound of the fuel pump which is a lot more mechanical.

Squelching from the pump priming is my bet.

You can set the volume of the radio on start up via the convoluted menu set up.

i get this too. a definite crackling noise immediately after turn ing the ignition key and before the engine turns over. :confused:.
