Somthing around about 50mm depth should go in but watch the magnet diameter aswell as there is a bit of metal for the window guide that is in the way. My Jbl speakers came with a metal adapter ring which game me another 3mm space and still fit under the original speaker trims in the door card. I asked my local shop if we could do a test fit before i bought the speakers just placed gently in position still in its plastic bag. looked good so I went for it.
