140 2.0L Oil

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm trying to find the correct oil for a 140 PS 2.0L diesel on fixed servicing. I've managed to find the spec for a car on variable (thanks Denis  ) but not for fixed.

Anyone help?

Thanks,

Hi, Vw507-01 For Fixed Servicing, Main Dealer Price

I presume the longlife oil is better quality to cater for variable servicing, hence it is ok, maybe over the top though, for a fixed service engine?

IIRC the PD140 is good on VW 506.1 or VW507 on variable.

Yes it is better oil so that it can last the extra distance.

If it was me i'd do the service as a variable with the good oil and if you want an early oil change you can do that at 10 or 12k. If it isn't convenient then you can go on the variable one until the car tells you :)

Thanks.

Look at the sticky above for all the info you need as this has been covered many times.

Opie Oils can supply the spec you need via the net.
