Trip to Spa 24h

Featured Replies

I've suddenly come up with idea of going to the Spa 24h race. Now ive never driven abroad, or really gone to a non-holiday area, so am really in the deep end.

Am i too late in trying to organise this? Can anyone suggest places to stay that are race-friendly? well, i'm open to any suggestions!

Also had the plan to travel on the nurbugring, hmm.. maybe.

there are plenty of hotels in the Spa area , the only problem is , if you leave it too late they may all be full , also with it being a race weekend the prices may be higher

Spa is 200 miles from the ferry port of Dunkerque , A16/E40 to Liege then E42 to junc10 follow the signs to Francochamps

i stayed in the Dorint Spa Balmoral hotel , a bit up market but what the hell , paid 220 Euro for 2 nights B+B , evening meal + beer was another 40 Euro
