Two Buttons Near The Gear Stick

Featured Replies

I am curious about the the black buttons near the gear tick, for those who have sat in the new car what are they.

I think one is for the central locking.

From what I can make out in the brochure pics , one of them is the button that locks/unlocks all the doors.

Fuel flap release as well maybe?

Hmm... Ive just had a look at the brochure again , and on the Fabia 3 fitted with a sunroof , there appear to be 3 buttons down there , the lock/unlock button in the middle seems to be flanked either side by what look like electric window switches , maybe they are heated seat switches though , as the window switches are definately on the doors. On all other interiors these extra 2 switches are just blanks , so maybe that is the case?

There are four buttons on the centre console.

3 in front of the gearstick, 1 is the central locking lock/unlock, the two either side are for the heated seats. Then behind the gearstick you have a button for tyre pressure monitoring, the otherside of that is your 12v socket and behind that a socket for an MP3 player.

Don't press any of them when someone is sitting in the passenger seat!

I should know the answer to this having driven one, but I don't. Obviously didn't look hard enough!

The three buttons are; in the middle central locking and the blanks left and right are where the heated seat switches would go.

Me too. The first one I could understand, but not the above one :) (nor this one of mine for that matter :o )
