wheels

Featured Replies

just spent 2 hours cleaning my alloys.

1) washed with normal turtle wax wax/wash shampoo

2) then combination of AG wheel cleaner for most of it, and tiny touches of wonder wheels for the ingrained bits. (i know WW goes against many people, but so superior to the AG, and did use in very small touches)

3)then rinse quickly and

4) 2 coats of AG wheel seal.

not sure if these the best products but they came up superb! photo on phone, not the best quality

(never guess first time doing any sort of detailing whatsoever!!)

test is now how long do they stay like this and how easy are they to keep clean!!

that the tester!!

Looking good mate

Apolgies you need to tilt your head to the side to make out the photo, either that or i am going up a very extreme slope!!

Nice and clean mate.

One of the reasons I changed my vRS alloys was because hey are a pain to clean, especially right in the corner where the spokes meet the outer rim.

Dark wheels are the way forward - cannae tell when they are dirty

cheers guys.

always thought old zetec alloys on previous car were clean until i thought i would do it properly.

when the RS alloys are clean, they look very smart.

i know what you mean about number of spokes though, maybe 3 spoke alloys are the way to go!! (joking!)

spot on mate

Looking great - I need to do the same. Fancy a trip to New Zealand to clean them for me?
