Cruise Control

Featured Replies

Hi all, on the new Octy when set the cruise control via the indicator stalk when the brake or clutch is activated obviously cruise control is de-activated until the next re-set. I have noticed if you accelerate while cruise control is set at a certain speed this does not de-activate the function where i was led to beleive brake, clutch or accelerator when pressed should knock out cruise control?

It's a sort of overtake function and is normal. You can speed up to overtake something safely but it will then drop back down to the pre set cruising speed.

IIRC it will cancel if you maintain a higher speed for a certain distance or time but the manual will give the definitive answer.

Not a repost as such but you may pick up some tips and advice to your questions in this previous thread on the subject.
