I'm now toying with the idea of doing a full CarPC install. This will then regroup all music, video, dvd, carphone handsree, satnav, VAG-COM into one pratical unit, driven by a very OEM-like double DIN touchscreen with slot loading drive. mp3car.com | your source for mobile computing solutions is a great forum for all PC-related ICE.

Nice car ;)

Indeed :D

Made a little edit as I forgot the clutch bits + thought I ought to give credit to the previous owner ;)

To give credit where it's due - meeting up with Xav here in Bahrain really inspired my modding obsession with my Fabia vRS.

After getting the cr^p scared out of me with his little demo of what he could do with his car (near the leathern Bottle pub) my obsession became far worse.

Lovely car mate

Hehe - nice car indeed, annoyingly it makes me think about Brembos :P

:D

Brembos you want Brembos. Mmmmm. Brembos. voice>

TBH, if I were starting from scratch, I wouldn't bother. A 312mm upgrade with decent discs and pads probably gives you 95% of the performance. I had the 312 on my first Fabia, and honestly can't say the Brembos are that much better.

The drawbacks (more limited / expensive choice of pads) and the 17" need with enough offset may outweigh the benefit of an extra 5% in performance :)

But of course, they look nicer than a 288 or 312 discs / calipers :D :P

:( doing it again :P - uprated pads are more likely to happen next time round tbh :)

I wouldn't pay for Brembos either.

Oh yeah I didn't ;)
