Today, I have mostly been looking at the sky...

Featured Replies

Unfortunatly yesterday I couldnt pop down to the Teesside Model Flying Club display, so I went today instead with SWMBO - lovely weather for it, 26 degrees!!

Sooo, I took the camera out, snapped away. "LOW BATTERY!" Argh. Managed to find a stall with some AA cells and got these piccies and more:

After walking about I managed to find a cracking deal on a RC Car (I was going to buy a plane but this was too good an opertunity!). A very *Special Price* and I walked away with a Tamiya TA05, complete with motor, 3 batteries (all racing ones), servo, receiver, and a LRP Pulsar charger.

Total Cost New:

Nice bird ;)

Like the TA05, nice bit of kit that.

Some nice looking kit there, sounds like you got a bargin too. I'm more into 1:48 scale static models, aircraft mainly. I like Tamiya, it's very high quality, pricey but well worth it.

Looked good - piccies, brill machines etc

Hope the bird didn't poop on your bonnet :P

Tis indeed. Ive set some up in the past and they are much better after they have been *fiddled* ;) Flurine shocks, 64dp gearing and uprated bearings and its a 80% improvement on the standard.

Actually...There is a poo on the bonnet :o Im going to have to have a word

That F15 looks good.

Seen an F22 and an AH-64D model before (forget where), and they look awsome. Not cheap, and experts only!

Nice pics - Fuji S5600

Yup, my brother has the 9600, and its a whopper but gets about the same level of pics as the 5600 IMO. Nice little compact high zoomer;)

Photoshopped them to crop and reduce the size
