Sorry if I'm asking a really obvious question here but could do with some advice. Is it possible via VAG COM to change the settings on my Fab VRS so that when I open the boot via the key fob it doesn't lock again when I shut it?

I'm not great in the morning's and I'm heading for a keys in boot moment.

I'd agree with Stu and go for the 'unlock normally' routine, but I do know what you mean!

Is there a reason that it can't be done Theresias? Is it hardcoded into convenience or something?

I think the remote boot latch feature is a complete waste of time - If it was a saloon car where the boot would spring up on its own then fair enough, but since you have to lift the boot on the fabia anyway, why not just do it with the handle?

I shouldn't answer for Theresias but.... I will anyway. When he says "not possible" that usually means that the module cannot code that feature. Hence - "not possible".
