hi all well I've smoothed my air box ,while i had it out i took a look at the air feed pipe that goes into the wheel arch i thought it was appallingly small, so i fitted a 80mm aluminum flexi tube from where the original tube went in to the box , down to below the n/s headlight where there is a nice big space for cold air to be sucked up !!! it was a bit of a faf you have to re shape the flex pipe to fit in the hole in the box, i did it by roughly shaping the end of the pipe so it fitted in, then i pulled a little through into the box then run the handle of a chisel round the inside of the tube to shape it in the hole trimmed of the excess leaving enough to turn over the rubber seal inside , i also cut out a few more holes in the front grill to feed more air in cost of pipe around

have you noticed any difference in responsiveness or is it mainly induction noise?

think it was a bit louder aprart from that there was no differance at all i've took it off now due to my insurance not covering my filter
