anyone ever had or heard about this brand of alloy wheels? im desperate to get some alloys for my fabia 1.2 comfort!!!!

do you think 14" alloys will look right? im on a bit of a tight budget and would love to get some 15"s but recently spent

The only 14" one I can see are BK166's @

Go to any halfords mate they have all the bk range on their wheel walls, the bk166 is a muilti drilled wheel ie it comes in 5x100, 5x112 muilt drilled pattern. i think it wouldnt be that much more for 15's and they would look so much better than 14's with ballon tyres.

I bought some 15" fo an MR2 not so long back from ebay and they looked really good and were well priced.

This week I ordered a 16" package direct from the BK racing website for my Prelude, I recieved a phone call saying they were not in stock and would I accept 17" at no extra cost?

They arrived the next day and look fantastic. go for it:thumbup:

nevermind, just rang directline. asked how much alloys would push up my premium by, only to be told that i can't make any mods till im 25. how stupid is that eh? might see if i can get away with puttin skoda alloys on.

can you get away with fitting genuine Skoda alloys such as a set from the VRS????

As these are not aftermarket.

Ha ha. Snap! I had the exact same trouble before just over a year ago. So I switched to Tescos who would let me mod but stung me for it. Now I'm nearly 26 I'm back with Direct Line and they've been very nice to me since.

Anyway, you can't fit anything other than what it rolled off the production line with as it's classed as a mod. Even OEM wheels off the vRS as they would not have been fitted as standard to the car. I doubt they'd have even been an option.

Insurance companies need only take your chassis no, call Skoda UK and they can find out what it originally had on it.....steelies or alloys and if the latter, what style and size etc.

i would try euro car parts... they can supply alloy wheels pretty cheaply

You might be able to get away with using 14" alloys off the Fabia Elegance Fabias as they're the same profile tyre/wheel size as the 14" steels. Worth asking first though to check. Try and ask if you can use Skoda 15" alloys as the octavia ones will fit OK too.

yeah, i am now considering gettin skoda alloys however finding 14" alloys (whichi think i could get away with) is a bloody nightmare!! dont fancy paying dealers

Absolutely - you've got loads of choice mate, given the amount of VAG stuff that uses 5x100. Then pop some Skoda centre caps/stickers on :)

Just do an eBay search for some. I'd go for something 15 upwards TBH.
