Hello everyone,

I'm trying to wire in some extra cig lighter sockets to power the multitude of devices I have. I'm trying to hide the wires underneath the centre consol, so heres my question......

Does anyone know how to remove the fabia centre consol?

Ive undone 3 torx scres underneath the front ash tray and 2 torx screws underneath the rear ash tray.

I assume theres something else I need to do beacuse it isnt coming out. Does the plastic cover underneath the handbrake remove some how?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance guys.

Ive done a serach but nothings come up.

For future reference if any wants to know.

3 x Torx screws under the front ash tray.

2 x Torx screws under the rear ash tray.

Remove the centre part directly underneath the hand brake lever. Prise one of the sides open with a small flat blade screw driver. It feels like it wont go but it will.

Dont forget the wires connecting the cig lighter, dont pull all the consol out in one go otherwise you wil have to repair the wires.

Gimme 10 mins mark and I'll see what I can find.

It was one of those jobs that should have taken 5 mins and took be bloody ages:rofl:

Looks like somethings gone on under the consol as well because the cig lighter wires were bare in places and taped up. Anyway everything works when plugged into the new extention so at least it looks a little better.
