I understand that the 1.9TDi engine has been dropped in favour of the 2.0TDi unit across the Skoda range from 1 June. This was confirmed from my leasing company today when they tried to order a 1.9 L+K for a member of staff.

It looks like only the NEW L&K has dropped the 1.9TDI. It's still available everywhere else except the Scout according to the Skoda site.

I would find it hard to see Skoda dropping the 1.9TDI due to the appeal of low CO2 emissions for company car drivers :rubchin:

The 1.9TDi has a long long way to go yet.

It's probably just that particular combination, guessing they are thinking along the lines of - if you get the L&K spec, you want the extra refinement the 2.0 engine offers.
