I am hoping to buy (from a garage) a fabia estate 1.4 8v on a Y-plate, and I would like to know if this has a cambelt not? There are some contradicting posts on here, so if anyone could give me the definative answer that would be great.

I took the car for a test drive and and it drove well, steering was light and acceleration smooth. Sadly it has no 'electrics' or any extras, and it has done 63,000 miles with one owner. I haggled to get a price of

there`s no belt , just chain and push rods - based on the old felicia engines -

not that fast but will get you from a-b - insurance and fuel is cheap , if its what

you want go for it
