mk1 Octy vRS spoiler on Fabia vRS

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I was at a meet yesterday and I was parked up next to a mk1 octy vRS and it got me thinking. I know the car is wider but the octy spoiler is mounted inside the boot line so is not as wide as the car itself.

It's just a feeler but does anyone think it would be possible to mount the Octy spoiler ontop of the Furby one (I know when the boot opens it would bend the ariel but there we go!).

It's just an idea and was wondering if anyone had ever thought of this??? I haven't got photoshop so can't try it out to see what it would look like but if anyone does then maybe it is something they could try!!!

All the best

There is/was a mk.1 octy spoiler in the for sale section a few days ago, not sure if its still there. Think Quinten was getting rid of it -

yeah, I'd seen it on there. Don't suppose you could do me a favour and measure up the width of the spoiler could you? At least then I'll knwo if it's roughly the same width??

Cheers

Do you want the width of the spoiler or the width of the screw holes? ;)

Distance between screws is approx 112cm, total width approx 119.

HTH :)

112  Just measured the Furby pspoiler and its approx 93 total!!!!!! there goes that one then!!

imo the octy spoiler on a fabia would look horrid.

if you fancy a change i suggest the WRC styled one. this is how it looked on a fabia i stickered up to replicate the WRC cars.

doesnt look as good on a plain car though. IMO.
