Something wrong with the mongrel

Featured Replies

It said I did 70mpg on my way to work this morning.... And when I got here it said after 50 miles from filling up, I had another 595 miles of diesel to go! x2

OK, it was a dawdling journey this morning with not much stopping, but I've never had mpg (readout) as good as this before. I'm kind of curious what's different, but as far as I can tell - nothing. Just stuck in sainsbury's diesel with the usual shot of Millers Sport 4 - using the lpg as usual as well....

I'm considering sticking the 165/70 R14 steels on the back for the journey up to the Midlands on Friday evening. :D See what effect that has.

Fit the big roof upgrade first or first corner, well, you know how it goes - road, sky, road, sky :D

Jason, Could it be your re-re-map is far better than the previous one.

Low-down I've not seen any real difference until this morning. :)

It is better though simply from the viewpoint they knew how to control their turbo, and have mapped it so there is zero spiking (or very marginal)

I would of said, due to having a bigger turbo, and it coming on boost later in the rev-range, it's not spoiling up early as it use to anymore. Therefore, that is entirely possible.
