Hi, I have a OIL Word blinking in the Odometer Display, I read my owner manual and I can't found the meaning. Can someone explain me what my car want? I have a Skoda Fabia 1.9 Dissel :confused:

I am guessing it time for your oil change, is there a spanner showing as well. The reccomended oikl change time is 10 000 miles but i did this and few weeks later it was flashing inspection service. you may be as well to wait or check to see how long it is due for service and get both done at one. 1.4 8v fabia Y reg

You will need to reset it to get rid of the oil on the display.

i think it comes on 1000 miles before the due milage... if you look in the handbook it documents how to reset this back to normal

The display starts flashing 1000 miles or 1 month before your service is due , depending on your milage since the previous service. If it was due an inspection service you would see 'service INSP' in there instead.
