What wheel and tyre size are you restricted to on the octy?

Im looking at a new set or wheels, but no scrubbage at all, so what am i looking at that is a guaranteed no rubbing? many thanks

What do you have at present?

18s with 225/40 tyres are an obvious choice. I personally would not go out to 19s as the tyres would be 35 profile which IMHO is getting too low.

About the furthest you would want to push it would be 19" 8J alloys with 235/35/19 tyres. This combination guarantees no 'rubbing' issues providing you get the correct offset which should be 40 to 45 with a PCD of 5/112.

This does limit your choice but my preference would be either the BBS CH026 or RS4 replicas.

I want to put winter tyres on my VRS II and need a proper wheel size (offsets etc)for 17" winter tyres.

Any ideas?

Get the tyres from Mytyres.net

Get new, big wheels for the non-winter tyres and go back to standard wheels and sizes for the winter time. Costs more but will look awesome for 3 seasons of the year!

I already have original 18" wheels for the summer, but want to buy a set of wheels to put the winter tyres on, preferably 17" that I can keep in the garage during the 12 minutes of summer we get every year.

So I need to know exactly what the sizes of the WHEELS are so I can buy Compomotive or some such shyte.
