Gave her another seeing to yesterday. Used Meguires gold class wax for the first time............shine, shine, sparkle, sparkle..................Woke up this morning to find it had been raining over night.......................rollocks!!

Over a year ago, I noticed that the underseal was peeling from the offside front jacking point on the car. I've not really had a chance to get round to sorting it, until now - I've got some free time, and figured I should finally redo it. Upon inspection, the fix is as expected - wire brush, rust converter and then redo the paint/underseal. The issue is, the offside rear is a fair bit worse. While the front has just been lifted with the emergency jack a few too many times, the rear has been lif

Hi, sorry if this topic has been posted a number of times, but I have a query about timing belt intervals on a 2019 Octavia estate SE L TDI 150 AUTO. It has just been in for its MOT and service, and I also asked them to have a look at the timing belt. I'm sure I read somewhere that the interval was 100k miles, and as mine has now done 91k, it would need doing in the not too distant future. However, although they gave me a quote (£750 for timing belt and water pump), they told me the interval is

After two years of ownership, I've finally got round to using the MySkoda app. I've got a very late Mk3.5 (Jan 2020 build) and it has all of the features I wanted - mainly, I just wanted it to check the car was locked, as someone didn't spec folding mirrors. Anyway. It was bit of a pain to get it working inside the car, and it's raised a question about connectivity in the car. Hello, I live in a country that is currently in a state of war (unfortunately), and GPS jamming is being deployed, causing a 'spoofing' syndrome - showing you in a location where you are not. Due to these disruptions, I use Waze via CarPlay, or on my second phone via Android Auto, to navigate in my vehicle.
