Anyone got the Audi part No and any pics of the completed job ?. Just thinking about paying nearest Audi dealer a visit for a liner. Know there's some pics on here somewhere but can't find them.

I saw the TT liner fitted to Skudmissile's arch the other day. Looked good.....subtle. Effectively it's the same idea (and even the same vent arrangement) as Decrons only plastic instead of metal.

Looking back at the original posts about this mod a couple of years ago i'd be interested in a couple of things..............

1. Did anybody ever find out if the liner from the Ibiza Cupra which already has the vent was a direct swap???

2. Do the original TT liner 'how to' pictures exist??? As the original post no longer has the pics working.

The Ibiza one is the same shape but the mounting holes are in the wring places IIRC. I'll be doing the TT one I think in the not too distant future. Just need a pop rivet gun to fix it in.

i tryed the ibiza one off our bens car but it didnt fit right, so i cut the vent out of a tt liner and screwed it to the existing liner with some stainless self tappers. my plan however is to replace the screws i used with some black torx screws like what the whole front of the fabia is joined together by and the same as what holds the undertray on.

Think the Audi vent will look more original, which is what i'm after. Did you fit it on the wheel or intercooler side of the existing liner ?.Thought it would look better on the intercooler side , but is there enough room ?.

They do come in various colours including black.

Are there any copies of the pictures from the original TT liner 'how to' available anywhere???? It might sound daft but i've never seen a pic of the TT mod only the one's where grilles have been bought from B&Q etc.....

I've seen the 'how to' but there are no pics on it anymore just broken links.
