Any one tried this?

Featured Replies

Bilstein I belive do a kit of shocks equivalent to koni FSD's or eilbach's that could be used with eilbach springs - any reason why no one has tried them. I think they are called B12's??

i had a look at those before i got my fsd's.... they are really expensive..... they also do B10's as well

I know people with Bilsteins on Impreza's and they are great when they work, but more often than not they're either leaking or knackered (and need rebuilding). Go for the Koni FSD's ;)

AFAIK, the B12's are just the regular Bilstein suspension kit (shocks and springs) with the B10's being a euro-look suspension kit (60/40 drop).

The Koni FSD's USP is that they dynamically adjust to the driving conditions. At low speeds the ride is comfortable but when you start giving it some berries, the pressure in the shock absorber increases and it all stiffens up giving you sports handling.

The best of both worlds.

Might be wrong re. the Bilsteins - it would be good if there was a rival to the FSDs to give us some choice :)

Have you been back on to the suppliers to get some redress ?

Would have thought with a World-wide reputation like Koni's there'd be a good warranty etc.
