Yep it is an Esrpit V8 GT,

Cracking car.

The liners were only an issue on some of the early V8's but they changed the glue/sealant stuff and they are then fine.

The Renault box only came in in 87/88 when the shape was changed. Before then it was a citreon box. Again the box is ok so long as you don't spend every five minutes doing drag starts.

For a daily use supercar though they aren't bad at all. Trouble is they didn't receive the development from Lotus back in the day due to funds.

Lotus are being good though as they have just spent a shed load on developing new suspension for all the esprit models to bring the handling back into the 21st century. Not bad considering the last one's to roll off the production line was 3 years ago.
