Seems like the scots are living up to the reputation of being well tight.

loks like i am going to have to learn about this VAG-COM and get my name on this list.

has anyone used the kits of e-bay? seems they are quite cheep compaired to VAG kits

any advice welcome

I've moved your post to a more suitable place.

VAG-COM is software for use with a suitable and compatible cable. You can buy a cable directly from the manufacturer, Ross-Tech or on eBay

The software can only be bought legally from Ross-Tech however the cables for non CANBUS cars can be bought on eBay. If you have a CANBUS car then it has to be from Ross-Tech as the eBay cables aren't suitable.

Hi all, I recently ran a ODB II on my car and it’s came up a couple of fault codes, as follows: P20EE Nitrogen oxide (NOx) sensor, catalyst, bank 1 - efficiency below threshold Status: Pending Engine control unit P003D(75) Intake camshaft profile control A, bank 1 - stuck on Status: Test failed, Pending, Test failed since last DTC clear, Test not completed during this operation cycle And to add to this, it’s regening every 100 miles and recently went into limp mode with a coil light on the da

Hi, Bought my Kamiq in January from Arnold Clark on PCP. It’s a 1 ltr automatic. Loved the test drive etc so signed the dotted line. Been having issues. I’ve had a knocking noise from the roof, with the infotainment display switching on and off at the same time. Random juddery downshifts. When I reverse while holding the brake, it starts jumping about. Seems like it’s one thing after another. I’m a few months in and I’m at my wits end with the thing. Any idea wots wrong / advice please ?

Hello Does anyone have any knowledge of how to remedy issues with the RNS510 Columbus stereo cutting out, and a pulsing kind of heartbeat sound being emitted from the speakers? Do I need to install software? If so, how do I know which type and what version I will need, and where do I get it? Thanks in advance.
